Its nailed to my garage wall. Its in no particular order, and no real sense of urgency. These are just things that I am aware have less than 50% life left in them. You can put off as many repairs as you’d like, as long as you are aware of the current parts’ condition. Also, Ive decided on some OEM style housings from Oreilly’s because they are cheaper, I can order them with my discount from work and I cant find any aftermarket housings that I actually like.

Its gonna feel really good to be able to afford to start crossing things off that list.

Does it need to be repainted?

Actually, yes. Clear coat is failing on the roof, hood, passenger door (cuz junkyard door) and drivers cab side. Also there is a big ass dent and missing paint on the drivers side rear wheel well that the PO’s daughter gifted me. Plus you know, the burned paint from my cobbled together side exhaust.

I’m gonna do the primer, body work, rust repair on the bed floor, masking and Im gonna remove as much trim as possible. Plus I should have my new wheels by then so I’ll just slap my current ones on and not worry about over-spray. I may even remove the headlights and taillights, then (if He’s okay with this) tow it over to Maaco with Jake Huitt’s Dakota and Flatbed.

I just dont trust myself to spray metallic paint well

FYI, removing the original paint and prepping for primer is EXTREMELY time consuming, especially without professional tools.

Rockauto sells headlight housings for the Ranger. 16-25$ ea. per side.

Just sayin.
